Existing baking trays and roasting tins were often difficult to handle with oven gloves, a common practice when turning food or rotating the trays for even cooking. Studio17 developed a large, pronounced handle with the same profile on all four sides, enabling easy and safe manoeuvring from any direction.

The handles double as a means of nesting and centering the trays when stored, thereby occupying the minimum space, and stopping the non-stick coatings from rubbing against each other. It uses production techniques common to other high-quality coated trays, providing increased function at a competitive price, and is supporting Joseph Joseph’s expansion into cookware with their Space folding handle cookware range.
