Created for Joseph Joseph by Studio17, Duo Cheese signified the birth of the ‘Duo’ knife range – pairing common knives to store together safely and securely.

The vast assortment of specific cheese knives are often sold as sets; stored either in cases or blocks, or individually in a drawer. Duo Cheese did away with the associated formality – discretely packaging two essential knives.

Condensed to hard and soft cheese knives, safety and storage were considered a priority for an occasional use product that could live amongst other tools and utensils in a drawer.

The knives are shaped so they sit neatly together, removing the need for a sheath. Opposing blades ‘self-store’ and protect each other. Small neodymium magnets provide an immediate way of pulling apart or storing together with a reassuring snap.
