Studio17’s empirical research underscored the importance of weight and ergonomics when delivering better long-handle garden tools. 

With the heavier stainless’ steel heads construction of the hand-tool sister range, the handles were made from lightweight extruded aluminium. The overmnoulded handles give the grip needed with delivering forcefull pushing or pulling forces common with these tools,  

The handles have cut-outs, showing the aluminium shaft running straight through the centre, reinforcing the sense of quality and material honesty.
